President & CEO, Greater Cleveland Food Bank
This event starts with tours of the cavernous food warehouse, kitchen facilities and massive freezer facilities. There are 3 million lbs. of food in the warehouse with 125,000 lbs. of food delivered to partner agencies and programs every day, and thousands of meals being prepared daily.
After the tours, we will have dinner and hear more about the Food Bank and its mission from President and CEO, Kristin Warzocha. Kristin has been with the Food Bank since 2000 and has concentrated on engaging the community in the work of the Food Bank.
Also, during the dinner portion, we will be holding the HBS Club Annual meeting where we will be asking for approval of a slate of new/renewing officers and trustees. We will also be requesting approval of new bylaws and a revised Constitution.
A popular addition to the evening is the opportunity to hear from our scholarship recipients who went to campus for one of the non-profit classes — hear about their experience and how they have applied what they learned in their organization’s day-to-day operations. This year we will have short reports from the following individuals:
